I have a problem
So on the 30 of June I moved to a rental room so I was going through financial problem
So August I paid rent in full and in September I paid half so October the landlord called saying he's gonna come fetch the key,so I told him I'm considering to leave because I can't pay rent any more and I left on the 2nd of October so I told him on my deposit which is 2800 he can take the 1700that I owe him then the rest he can give me . So we were busy chatting on WhatsApp and I asked him about deposit he said after inspection of the room I will get my deposit back now he is saying that I didn't give him notice therefore I can't get my deposit back.
