Hi There
I have 2 questions please:
1. We have our own company, a graphic, new media and motion design company. We have had a client for the last 13+ years and recently the client said they have some financial issues and we need to go on a retainer of R30 000 per month - this was about 4 months ago paying the retainer from 24th to 24th of each month. The client sent an email stating that they again have financial issues due to their marketing manager spending their whole budget and my retainer is now cancelled immediately - no money for december now and I have already done R45 000 worth of work for december? No notice nothing - Is this legal? I think he thought there will not be much work over this time and after getting double work from me for little money he cancels the retainer to score over december and january?
