I have signed a contract stating that I have to give 3 months notice before I am able to leave the work. Is this legal? I want to end the contract and work somewhere else.I am a tutor, it is not a permanent position it is an hourly rate and the schedule of my work changes weekly, sometimes I have more students sometimes less. I get paid in cash only. The contract is a bunch of statements but has my information on it and I have signed it and there is two witness signatures.Without going too far what is my options for quitting?Regards,
