Hi. My controlling abusive mother bought me a car 3 years ago (she bought each of the children a car). She asked for and sold my then-current car and kept the money. We are not on a good footing now as I am living with her for a few weeks now and now she wants to take the car back, it's still in her name. This is a malicious and obsessively controlling act on her part. I can not leave her premises as my car is locked in and she refuses to let me leave with my car the way I came. I have a 9 year old son, going through a divorce and unemployed and now she wants to kick me while I am down and out with no husband to defend me. I find myself and my son prisoner in a horrific abusive situation and can not leave unless I am prepared to shoot myself in the foot further. I can take my son to school, I won't be able to get to work, once I get one. She knows this and is so thrilled to have this power over me, she wants to see me squirm with pain. I am really in a terrible and vicious situation and need urgent help.
