Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
a builder was going to build wooden houses on my property didnt know he had to apply for planning permission first mistake lied about the fact that the geysers were extra - didnt turn up second day after i paid him so i panicked and opend a fraud case he turned up two hours later no excuse no supplies day two so by day three i told him the contract was cancelled but a month later i cant get my money back i have now paid a lawyer six thousand rand to send out letters of demand she wants to now get me to commit to paying over another six thousand rand to get a court order to sue she pushing me and i am the person in the innocent i havent got a clue what is going on i reported it to the police they opened a docket but neither bank will refund me or assist
