helllo there,

i got home from work this evening only to be confronted by my neighbor accusing my dog of biting her grandson. she has insisted that i accept the doctors bills & has already opened a case against me at the police station, she then told me if i dont pay she will sue me.

there were no witnesses and according to her grandson my dog jumped our fencing and bit him on the road/their driveway.

my problem is that he is always walking on the road & he could have been bitten by anyones dog or he could have been hurt in a fight and is afraid to tell his parents

Can she sue me? what steps can i take to protecy myself?
