Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Our mother bought a plot from a friend of hers. She passed away before it was transfered to her name. We do have receipts that state that she paid the plot fully. Now the problem is the person she bought the plot from also passed away. Now the problem is her children are saying they want the plot back it was never paid for, they will pay us the expenses of the house that was built on the plot. Can you advise as how can we deal with this and whst needs to be done. Thank you.
