Question posted in the General Law category relating to Mpumalanga
Good day.
I am jacqueline and have recently completed my studies with IIE Rosebank College.
Now due to the Corona viruse outbreak, the College has decided to cancel all graduation ceremonies for 2020.
Under the given circumstances, I understand it had to be done but they could have postponed until after the pandemic and not cancel completely. It really feels like they saw an opportunity to save money and they are going for it.
Is there no legal way to fight the cancellation?

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.
You do realise that the graduation ceremony is separate to you actually getting your certificate/degree?!
At the end of the day, an employer only cares about the certificate/degree - they don't care about a graduation ceremony.
