Good Day

Can you tell me if the following is defamation? I keep my horse at a livery yard, the manager of the yard is useless and I have been given notice due to my complaining about her wrong doings all the time. Can i write a letter to her boss giving him all the short comings or will that be deemed defimation, this guy likes to bully and throw lawyers around
