Question posted in the General Law category relating to Gauteng
Hi my car was stolen at my residential home in Bapong near Brits on 26-03-2020 & was recovered by beame Tracker on 27-03 (the following day) on the streets at centurion & it was locked at the time of recovery & was towed to vehicle Storage pound in Pretoria west but i was unable to collect it because of the lockdown period & when I got there on 15-05-20 the vehicle was unlocked & all the items that were inside was removed & police officers there refused to give it back to me,can I get help on the matter please?

Was it a SAPS vehicle storage yard?
Did the SAPS officers acknowledge that they had taken the stuff in question?
Did you report this to the Captain at the SAPS office?
