Question posted in the General Law category relating to Western Cape
Hi
I am looking to purchase a vinyl plotter. I have searched online and found the one I need.
It is quoted at R14999,00 and there are several differnet prices for the same machine.
When I enquired about the machine I was sent a proforma invoice for R18500,00.
I was told that the price depends on the Rand exchange rate. Not quite sure how that affects stock which is available in the Warehouse in Montague gardens.
Im not sure how to proceed.
Please help.
Regards
Derek

Hi there,
I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.
In South Africa, the law is such that a seller does not need to honour a price they display. If you want to buy something, you are basically making them an offer to buy it. They can choose to accept / decline.
I'm afraid that you do not have a case.
