Good day

I lend money to a friend and drew up a contract where he agreed if the money is not paid by the due date I can then take possession of his vehicle and we both signed the document. It is now almost 2 months later and he stil did not pay me back. He's making empty promises and give me the run around everytime I confront him.

He refuses to hand over his vehicle and told me I can go lay a charge against him

I am at the end of my tether and would like the matter resolved. Please advise how can i take possession of his vehicle legally. I take he went into this agreement with false intentions and had no intention of handing over his vehicle.

Your advice will be highly appreciated.

Thank you
