Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Good day, i was involved in an accident last month, were i was hit from behind, i got a statment from the driver who knocked in to me stating they accept liability for the accident, so they gave me they insurance companies details, I contacted them, they requested quotes, and other verifiacation documents, which i supplied. I also supplied an assesment of the damages which was done by my insurance company, making sure that the quotes for the repair lines up with the damage, the assessment resulted in a repair cost of R10500, and my quotes ranged from R9000 to R12000, now the insurance company is only offering a settlement amount of R6700, which does not cover the repair cost, im not sure on a way forward from here
