Question posted in the National Credit Act Law category relating to Western Cape
I have applied for a loan for low credit individuals, however I am required to obtain clearance from a lawyer before funds are paid out.
Please advise as this is new to me.

This is undoubtedly a scam.
Whenever you are asked to pay money upfront before you can get a large payment, be aware!
My advice is to check if this company is registered with the FSB as a financial service provider.
If not, don't do business with them because there is really no way to hold them accountable.
