Greetings.

I am Simbulele Mrubata, and I would like assistance with a matter in relation to the gambling industry of South Africa.

I would like to know if matched betting is a legal or illegal practice in South Africa. It's basically a strategy of using sportsbooks and/or bookmakers bonuses to turn a profit, however there's a little more to it than my vague explanation here. Thus, to cut matters short I have a link herein that explains in detail of how the betting strategy works.

I understand in other parts of the world it's not a crime to implimemt this betting strategy, however I'm not sure if it's a crime or not in South Africa, hence my query in this regard. I ask this because I don't know if it's something that could have behind bars, and to get all the help, advice and assistance to know understand fully what I might be getting myself into.

Here's the link that explains what matched betting is https://www.gamblingsites.org/soccer-betting/matched-betting-with-free-bets/
