Hi there. I left my previous employer around 3 months ago and started my own business. Now they are spreading false information around in my industry that i stole money from them, which is 100% not true. This is directly hampering me being able to conduct business and earn a living. What should my next steps be?

Hi there,

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment, even if it is R150 or R200.

Depending on what they have said, this could constitute defamation and you could sue them for any damages that you suffer! You could also apply to court to interdict (stop) them from spreading these rumours further.

Please remember this is a dialog if you have follow-up questions please make the required deposit, then use the REPLY button and ask your further question. I would like to continue assisting you, but I need to concentrate on people who make deposits for their questions - they get serviced first!
