Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Hi , so recently we bought a car from WeB**C , you know the people with all the adds ,dont wna mention the name directly.
So it was a second hand one on a clearance auction and it had a derka report of what was wrong ect, all that was wrong was a cracked windscreen, so we bid and took it . Upon inspection at home jacking it up there was gearbox oil leak and engine oil leak ,that in their report said no faults on either not even sweat.
Upon taking it home and investigation paying for reports with vin and engine number the car was listed as the wrong model and year. It was listed as an audi a3 2010 1.8tfsi ambiente, and its actually a 2009 sportback. So value wise i was paying more for a older year than i should have.
So considering they misled me on the year and faults they claimed werent there
