Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Western Cape
Hi, I've signed a 3 year lease agreement however within the first month I am having problems with my landlord. I work from home and require an internet line plus invoice to submit to my job, the landlord has made it impossible to have my own line installed and cannot provide me with an invoice for the line I had contributed to. The roof needs fixing and which the landlord had advised would be done the first week we moved in it's been 3 weeks and nothing has been done. The lease they sent me has a first page that is not eligible. Is that lease valid? Also I signed a lease with one person and when moving in was informed the property belonged to another. Please help I need out of the lease if it is valid
