Question posted in the Malpractice Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Hi,
I was raped and robbed in July 2015 in Port Elizabeth. I did report to the nearst police station, where I was told that they do not open charges they only do sertifications etc. They did how ever called for a van, which arrived after a long wait. I told them about the rape and where it happened. Well they never even asked for my name. They never even wrote my report in their little green books. I was left standing on the side of the road. No medical exams, nothing was done. I am hiv positive and am a regular tester done 2 hiv test before the rape and was negative.
I don't know what I must do, I am diagnosed with post dromatic stress after being hospitalized. I tried to commit suicide by taking all my ARV's.
I need help but can afford an advocate.
Thank you
