Dear Sir or Madaam,
I am an American citizen, living back in the USA since 2011. I had spent eleven years living in the Western Cape, South Africa prior to that. Approximately six months ago, my South African husband and I were divorced in the USA. As part of our divorce agreement, I am due to receive half of his pension. This has been quite a process, and not quite sure yet if it has been approved by the pension fund/SA court?? My question is, once approved, how, if possible am I to get those funds transerred to the US? I do not have a bank accout in South Africa. I would really appreciate your advice on this matter.
