Question posted in the General Law category relating to Mpumalanga

I am in the midst of a high court legal battle and my attorney has just withdrawn because I expressed concern and dissatisfaction about him not filing my notice to defend and plea within the time constraints imposed by the law. His reason for this is that he is waiting for his opponent to transfer the matter from one high court to another. The plaintiff is now in the process of filing a notice of bar and applying for a default judgement (in the amount of R2.8million).

The plaintiff is one of my commercial tenants (and currently owes approximately R600 000 in unpaid rental). She abruptly stopped paying rent of R30 000 per month almost 2 years ago and in 18 months (and R42 000 later) my attorney has essentially done nothing. What can I do?
