Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Western Cape
I have purchased a car through a dealership.
the car is two months old in my possession and the car leaks water from the roof and under carriage of the car the engine keeps jerking.
i have contact the dealership and they only willing to fix the car and not refund me or offer me another car.
I have contacted online assistance (legai aid office) in Somerset West who issued a letter of demand however the dealer has not yet responded.
The lawyer advised that the next step will be for them to issue a summons which costs R12000,00
Please advise on how I should proceed and the strength of my case.
