Hi THere,
I gave my domestic worker, who worked for me twice a week, notice in december 2013 that we will be relocating at the end of March & found her another job for 3 times a week.
She finished up with us on the 27 march and yesterday, the 26.05.14 was called by CCMA saying i did not pay her a severance pay!!!!
Please could you advise me of my rights as i paid her for that month in full, found her another job, and gave her crockery & cuttlery that she wanted while we where moving.
I have subsequently spoken to her since she left me as i was still assisting her to find additional work for the 2 days that she was not employed. Subsequent to that managed to get her an additional day therefore she is only currently unemployed for 1 day of the week.
Please advise as to what my rights are as an employer
Thank you
