A friend of me build a house in Eastern Cape. She was ask to apply by ESCOM for the installation/connection of electricity in her house. When she try ti find out what happens, she is informed that she installed her own electricity (because she waits a long time), she must first pay a penality fee of more than R 2000.00. She paid it last month (because her electricity was cut off). After enquiries and nothing that happens, she find out that her application is blocked.
