Good day, i very dissapointed with FNB as they have debitted my account without me authorising it or giving them any permission to debit. The amount being debited is for a loan that i took out and  then i got retrenched and couldnt afford to pay the loan. Now that i'm working i received a call from the legals that i need to make payment arrangements to pay back the loan. I didnt have a problem and told the lady would be able to afford R200 a month. i then told her that i will need to change my current banking details and switch to FNB so that the debit order comes out from that account. I then asked her to call me in a few days so that i could give her my account numbers so that the debit order will take place the next month and she never came back to me. All os a sudden an amount of R1978.54 came out of m account when i call the FNB loans department they told me that it 's for a loan but then my question is why do they debit my account without my authorisation and debit the amount that suits them without even checking my affordability or even confirming with me. They can do what ever they want on my account meaning they have excessed funds from my account with out my permission. I have no problem in paying the loan back as i have told the lady that she needs to call be back in a few days to get my account details. I want a refund of the amount that came out of my account and they can debit the R200 that was supposed to be taken out from the first place. I'm highly disgusted by FNB and dont appreciate how they excess peoples accounts.
