Question posted in the General Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Good Evening. So my question is a very long story which I’m going to cut very short. I was involved with someone who was in a relationship (not married with any children) and things went very bad with the situation. I felt that his partner should know about it and screenshot some our conversations in which it is clear that we were seeing each and sent it to her personally over and Instagram direct message. The guy Then threatened me and said he was going to sue and take me to court- using the terms ‘breach of privacy policy and the distribution of the electronics act’. I wanted to know if this is something that I should worry about? Is this possible or was he trying to merely scare me?
