Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Gauteng
Good day, I have a question regarding a theft of my car at a complex in Roodepoort (Gauteng) in October 2018. The complex had security on duty at night and the complex is access controlled. So I feel like the security guards were negligent (sleeping on duty or neglected the security control room next to the gate) or they took part in the crime because in the morning of the incident they claim to not hear anything or see the car leave.
Please assist because I see that the owners/property managers should be somehow responsible to the damage on my car because this has negligence written all over it.
Regards
