Question posted in the Property Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Good day
Hope you are well, please can you assist me.
In 1996 me and my husband had an divorcement, in 1999 we thought it would be good to buy a house toghether for the sake of the children. We bought a house 50/50 he paid 50% and I paid 50%.
The house are on both our names, later in 2000 I discovered through school teacher /worker that my youngest dauther was molested by her father.
We decided there and then to move out.
Me my 2 daughters and my dad moved to strand were we rent a house at that time.
I tried multiple times to get my 50 %or a monthly fee from my house as he rents rooms out in the house.
But with no luck, Im not sure what is the situation but it just doesn't get anywhere.
What am I to do?
Kind regards
Denise Le roux
