Good Day,
My Name is Elizabeth and i am recently divorced from my husband of 6 years.
I am employed and I earn R13000 a month and still live with him as i am unable to move out as i currently pay towards my sons school fees, transport and other extra curricular activities at school My Ex pays for medical aid he does not agree to paying child support. However he has said that i can move into the outbuilding with my kids. The rental for that is R4500 which he said that i dont have to pay if i continue paying for the kids school fees etc.
Initially i had asked him to pay 9000 for both my boys which would cover school fees transport and the nanny. however he refused and said he will be unable to pay as he cant afford it.
My ex earns more than 4 times my salary and has other incomes from his private business and the tenants. We were married under anc without accrued and even though i helped my partner and my salary got paid into his account i still have no were to start for my boys and i.
I need to know what the best step for me to take would be, should i live in the outbuilding rent free and continue paying for the kids expenses on my own?
