Question value: R 100.00
My father worked for a company many years ago (approximately 15 years ), he injured himself on duty and as a result his left arm does not work and was declared by doctors that his arm would never work again.
The company made an agreement with my father that it would pay him a certain amount (was R600 in 2006) till his death, my father being uneducated signed the contract as he trusted the judgement of his friend (former teacher)who was present at the time the contract was signed.
Currently the amont is approximately R1300. Would it be possible if my father would get the lump sum instead of this monthly amount?
