Question posted in the Family Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
I am a single mother of 2 small children. My parents have been part of their lives forever. I have been living with them for the past year, even though I have a fiance who has been transferred to a different province. I am wanting to relocate and start my life with him, as I have already been offered a job there. My parents are refusing to let me move and will not consider that is my life and that I am free to move. They have helped financially, which I am grateful for, but do they have a right to refuse me to relocate with my kids. I am 33 years old next week. The children will be in a stable home and be placed in good schools.

You are an adult, over the age of 18 years old. You are entitled to make your own life decisions. Your parents are therefor not able to stop you from leaving.
