Question posted in the Immigration Law category relating to Gauteng

My name is Majara Mojela, christened Good. I was born in Merafong City (formerly Carletonville) in the West Rand. Upon my return from my studies in the U. S. A. I learnt with dismay that my South African citizenship has been revoked. Currently I am a lecturer at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Lesotho.

Suffice to mention that this debacle has negatively impacted on my daughtets' welfare, especially the younger one who has just received her Matric results and needs an ID document to further her studies.

I have been given endless interviews by Home Affairs where I have now lost all hope of ever getting a positive resolution to the matter at hand.

I would therefore, like to take legal action against Home Affairs for the restoration of my citizenship and thence request your opinion on the matter.

I am reachable at +26663503820 or via email at ***BLOCKED-EMAIL-ADDRESS***

I hope my case holds water.

Majara Mojela

Did you apply for your US citizenship while you were studying?

If so, did you apply to retain your SA citizenship with Home Affairs BEFORE you took the first steps of applying for your US citizenship?
