My wife and i bought a vehicle from a dealer in the JHB region more than 18 months ago, however we wanted to upgrade and buy a Double Cab. we submitted all documentation once the deal was approved. The new dealership with which we recently test drove the double cab, then came back stating that we are trying to commit fraud.
once we sat down and ironed out what they were trying to get at, it became evident that we were sold a 2009vehicle, but the vehicle was already registered at the beginning of 2008.
I would like to get rid of the vehicle but this is stopping me, what about the monies which we have paid over this period of time?
This basically caused us buying the vehicle at roughly 60 thousand more than its worth. What can i do? Do i approach the dealer or the bank. If i had my way i would cancel the deal.
