Good Day.
I am under debt review.For 5 years i did not have contact with my creditors(loans),and i want to clear my name of debt review,but one credit says in a e mail to my debt counsellor "Just because no distributions are received, does not mean the account is prescripbed since the account is included in an active court order, interrupting prescription until rescinded"
What does the law sys about extinguished by prescription?
My DEBT couselor sad this in the e mail"
The client has requested a Clearance Certificate from me as the Debt Counsellor on record, however the last payment I have on record for the above-listed account was on 28/08/2013 whereafter the client stopped making payment to the PDA. If the afore-mentioned date is the last date that payment was made, the account should now have been extinguished by prescription.
What can i do to get a clearence certificate?
