Am Zimbabwean who was working for an international mining company in SA. The company appointed a immigration consultant for me to apply for renewal of my permits . The  immigration consultant took more than a month to prepare documents to submit application on 03Sept 2018.The application was rejected. He advised me to follow the requirement which was stated on the rejection letter. I booked for trade test at Indlela trade test centre and got 8 November 2018. I paid myself to do the trade test and preparations as well. I was tested and passed the trade test. Immigration consultant appeal with proof of results it was rejected again stating they need trade certificate which normal comes after 3months after testing. In January 2019 the department of Home Affairs updated they system that no one can appeal in more ten days. This made me to go back in Zimbabwe to reApply from there soon I receive my certificate in March 2019. I submitted my application on 20/03/2019 and the permit was only processed in March 2020. The company put me on unpaid leave soon after my leave days finished December 2018. In September 2019 through my Engineer they said they are cancelling my contract. I was in Zimbabwe. They send notification letter which was only with one week notice. Now I have my permit they refuse to reinstate me.
