Hi I recently decided to buy a house from an estate agent and I made a payment of R120 000 before receiving the contract into the agents account. I waited a whole 2weeks before getting any feed back on a contract. I decided to stop the deal as 3days after finally receiving the contract the agent told us the house could not be sold anymore because it was in a trust. She then wanted to look for another house for me to buy, I have since then decided not to do business with her because she doesn't sound truthful now I am struggling to get my money she has been telling me for the past week that she is waiting for the trust to pay her out so she can refund me. Do I lay a charge against her or keep waiting?
