Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
Hi, on Monday, my employer kicked me off the work server around 14h00 as I am working remotely from home. I then raised a concern with IT as to why, they investigated and informed me that I am inactive. They then lied and told me to give them access to my pc, they changed the password and kicked me out. O asked my manager what had happened she said sje does not know. I then called my director and he stated to come in tomorrow with my PC..I told him i cannot do so due to COVID19. I then requested a UIA19 form and was told I am not dismissed rather suspended.
