Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to North West
Good day. My daughters car was taken to Tyre Grip in Mooinooi to be repaired. They then told me that the car had to go to an auto electrician to find the fault (Brunos in Rustenburg). I was told that we would get a call with a quote before any work commenced. I got no such call, only one from Brunos informing me that I owed them R1529 for work done to the car. I contacted Hendrick from Tyre Grip to inform him of this, he promised to sort it out and said that no work order was given from his side. Brunos is now refusing to release the car until payment has been received. I am not the one at fault here and feel I should not have to pay for this. Please advise me as to what to do now. Thank you.
