Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Gauteng
Hi,
I sold my vehicle that I have had for 4 years last week. I am trying to make contact with the company that installed the vehicle tracking device to cancel my subscription. The contract was only for 3 years, yet I continued to pay the monthly subscription for the service. I tried to call the customer service centre 3 times and am told that someone will call me back to cancel the contract. I also have 5 or 6 reference numbers for calls logged but am not getting any response ?! What are my rights regarding the debit order that will continue to go off on my account every month, while I am not using the servuce anymore ?
