Question posted in the Landlord Tenant Law category relating to Gauteng

My ex landlord has sent me a small claims court "summons commencing action" document claiming damages to her property, that we lived in and moved out of at the end of November 2021. This is just a TOTAL FALSE claim and I am not going to be another one of her victims.

I fell ill with flu this morning and I am afraid that I won't be able to prepare and be at the court date of 24 May. How do I proceed and what is the process to get re schedule the court date. I have tried calling the court manager Mr C Chauke several times.

Please can you help me.

My tel number is 073 188 5052
