Hi
I am a 48 years old woman, married for 26 years. My husband is in the USA from March 2013, and am not planning to return. I want a divorce, but do not know what are my rights. We married out of community of property with the accrual. I am working, but are not self sufficient. Our children are 21 and 23 years old. My husband do not want to sell the house. He said he will "eventually" pay me out for the house, but how can I commit him to do it? And what can I do in the meantime, am I entitled to some sort of maintenance? What do I do about our joint accounts?
