Question posted in the General Law category relating to Western Cape
My father past away 15 May 2022. His will states that the house must be sold affer 1 year of his death. Reason being that the house is situated opposite a squatter camp and there were various break -ins. It is very scary to live there. My youngest sister, her 14 year old daughter and male cousin stayed on in the house after my father past. Now my youngest sister told me and my middle sister that she is not going to sell the house as it is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house plus garages that was build on a double plot. She will not be able to afford a house like this if she must buy a house elsewhere. In the mean time her friends from the squatter camp is visiting her everyday as she told them that the house now belongs to her. As a sister I cannot even visit the house now as they are always there and look at me as if I do not belong there. She is also selling the stuff in the house at far below the price without consulting me or my sister. I tried talking to her but she keeps on dodging me and makes it as if I am the problem. I want to send her a lawayers letter explaining to her that what she does is wrong. Please help
