Please can you help me regarding a harrassment matter. I am being harrassed by a very old friend whom i have not seen in years. I have had email contact only.I have helped her with money regarding her getting a job. Since then she has asked often. From last sunday, she asked for r600.00 as a car broke down. On the tuesday asked for r1500.00 for rent.On last friday asked for r2100.00  saying she was in a bad accident. In this email she stated that she would contact my wife on facebook should i not send it, so i did. She had attached a pic of a broken leg, which i found to be a google image. Today she sends a very nasty threatening email which i have attached for you to read. She demands today r2500.I sent no money today.I have saved all emails etc. She uses multiple emails which i blocked.

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment, even if it is R150 or R200.

Are you absolutely SURE that this person is actually an old friend? Could it not be somebody who is pretending to be her in order to extract money out of you? In my opinion, you should come clean to your wife and explain what has happened.
