Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Western Cape

normal and the car was only leaking water.On Monday i phoned the panelbeator to ask if I can get my car on Friday he agreed the following day he calls me back to inform me that there is problems on the engine and he did sent the quatation to the insurance,I phoned the insurance on my behalf and they inform me that they cant fix the engine because its a mechanical problem and than I inform the panelbeators and he inform me that the mechanics already start to strip the car.My question is what must I do now because there was nothing wrong with my engine and I find it hard to believe and if there was why didnt they pick it up the first time when they assess my verchile and all of a sudden my car is not ready because of the sudden engine problems and why did they took it to the mechanics to strip my car without having authirisation from the insurance
