Good Morning, I am about to sign a lease on a commercial property to open a new Pub. If I sign the lease in my personal name I believe that should the business fail and we are unable to pay rent the landlord can then cancel the lease after 20 because of breach. The landlord would obviously have the 2 months deposit which I would lose, but is there a risk of the landlord doing me and attaching my own private house?
