good day

i want to find out for a frend of mine some information on divorce.
her husband would not let her work for 12 years. they have 3 lovely kids.
he abbused her by hitting her and emotionally,
his parents got money. the qeustion i have is. should he pay her and her children maintainance or just the children. and what can her in-laws do.
can the take the children or not? i know grand paarents doesnt have a rite to do it. but is it possible?
he"s not working. only on his fathers farm,
