Question posted in the General Law category relating to KwaZulu-Natal
When I joined my company, I joined as team leader for another department. Later on they changed me to logistics team leader which I was still waiting for a full they were still drafting the contract, I was also assisting with work vehicle which I did not have a contract for and did not get a full training for.
2 months back I had an incident while using company vehicle, were pallets was in the van fell while driving and they gave me a warning saying I reported late, but I reported within 24 hours.
Few weeks back the company received a complain from the other person saying I disturbed him while driving and I just got dismissed after disciplinary hearing,
Did company had any right to dismisse me without proper training and without any contract signed regarding company vehicle
