Hello, I had to terminate my rental agreement due to both health and financial reasons. My wife urgently needs a hip replacement and I managed to get work that will help me to get the required funds for the operation. I gave the agent notice and they demand that I pay the rent every month until end of this year when the rental agreement will expire. I did read about the consumer protection act and I am not sure if this is against the CPA. It is a long period to now pay double rent and will appreciate some assistance in this regard.
