Question posted in the Insurance Law category relating to Free State

On the 8st of December 2019 I was approaching a red robot coming from Home affairs side, then I slowed down toward the red robot. The Bidvest vehicle had been stopped already by the same red robot I was approaching.  Before I could come to a stop the robot turned green and opened up for me then I proceeded to drive through. The Bidvest vehicle did not wait for me to drive through first before making a turn but he drove into my way and then we collided. So Now his insurance is refusing to cover the costs. Afer the driver has admitted. he was at fault. Can you help me make these guys fix my car.

Hi there,

I see that you haven't made a payment for the question, but I'm going to assist you a little. If you want to ask a follow-up question, please make the required payment.

Have you got insurance for your car? If so, you need to file a claim with your insurance company and let the two insurance companies fight it out.

If you do not have insurance for your car, and they are refusing to fix your car, you are within your rights to sue their insurance company for the costs of repair.
