Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Eastern Cape
Hi,
I recently emailed a pharmacy regarding the price of a product. After obtaining the price (R3,706 + R147 delivery), I decided to purchase and informed them of this via email the following day. Upon receiving a call from the pharmacy, the price of the item was now R4,094 + R147 delivery.
According to them, they only received the new price after acquiring the stock. Now I am unable to acquire said product as it is too expensive so cancelled the purchase.
Can I hold them to the first price they told me, or can I not?
I would really like to know.
